I had mentioned in other threads that everything pointed to Smith being OK, just a precautionary situation. Smith has confirmed that he is “fine.” Kevin Keatts will talk Monday on whether he’ll be ready to roll for the Notre Dame game Tuesday.

Duke signees Mackenzie Mgbako, Jared McCain and Sean Stewart made the squad, and that’s it for the ACC.

The lone North Carolina native that made the game was Aden Holloway of Charlotte, who attends Napa (Calif.) Prolific Prep. He’s going to Auburn. Robert Dillingham wasn't allowed to play in the game due to playing for Overtime.

Leaky should be made uncomfortable when he arrives at the PNC. Period. If we‘re going to be forced to accept the chit I saw tonight from the zebras we should think about returning the favor to Leaky.
I watched each teams initial second half possession and knew the result was in the bag. It mirrors pro wrestling so much it hurts. And I still kick myself for thinking we’ll get a fair shake against the cheats. This game was in the bag from the very beginning.

Junior shooting guard Jaeden Mustaf had 22 points to help Matthews (N.C.) Carmel Christian rally for a win at Cary (N.C.) Academy on Friday. NC State coach Kevin Keatts and an assistant coach from Virginia were in attendance. Mustaf said he'd like to go to the North Carolina at NC State game Feb. 19, since Carmel Christian isn't playing that day.

Carmel Christian will play at Raleigh Cardinal Gibbons at 5 p.m. today in their two-game swing through the Triangle.
