NC State coach Dave Doeren expects 16-18 early enrollees for the spring between the high school signees and the transfers.

Doeren said he'd love to have four scholarship quarterbacks, or even five, but he said they won't take one to take one. He does want every room to be competitive and that they know what 's it like to play four quarterbacks in a season.

How can anyone think the NIL was a good idea? No governing at all. Players in High Schools getting deals. I’m all for giving the players an allowance but this is crazy. The rich get richer and the mediocre stay mediocre. How is this competitive? The teams with the most money get the best players. Are y’all as frustrated about this as I am? It has ruined college football for me.
