Recruiting Kyron Jones likely to visit...

Charlotte Christian senior running back commit Kyron Jones is expected to officially visit Georgia in December, but he hasn't confirmed it yet. The plot twist is that Georgia, who is chasing several senior running backs, view him as a defensive back.

Jones had a hard time of it against Charlotte Providence Day on Friday, as did the rest of the Charlotte Christian squad in a 55-13 loss in the NCISAA Division 1 state title game Friday. He ran nine times for 32 yards, caught a pass for minus-two yards and had a tackle on defense.

Maye

CBS reporting Msye to enter the portal. Im shocked
Need to get this confirmed. I just can't believe this, though thete are plenty of reasons he should. But his family in unc royalty. Hard to believe in some ways, believable in others. Better coaching. An o line to protect you, Chance at a title, heisman chances. And tons of money. But damn, family is unc royalty. Kid would have had a statue outside Kenan and become a legend in the state. Someone needs to confirm this

Football Could you see NC State going Air Raid?

NC State has obviously never gone Air Raid under coach Dave Doeren. The Pack went up-tempo for a few years, but now just do it in spots.

Is it too radical to think an Air Raid candidate end up being an option for offensive coordinator?

The young guns at Western Kentucky, fired Seth Littrell at North Texas and a few others are Air Raid guys.

Then you have some guys who NC State could probably poach financially at Tulane, Appalachian State, and before he got hired at Oregon, Will Stein at Texas-San Antonio.

Some food for thought.

ESPN predicts Chris Dunn will win Lou Groza Award

ESPN has put up their predictions on the post season awards for college football, and they predict Chris Dunn will win the Lou Groza Award. Here is their analysis:

Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award (outstanding place-kicker)

Finalists:
Christopher Dunn, NC State; Joshua Karty, Stanford; Jake Moody, Michigan

Who should win: Dunn in a close one. While Karty didn't miss a field-goal try this season, he had seven fewer attempts than Dunn, who was also perfect on PATs (while Karty was 24-of-25). Dunn connected on 24 field goals, was 10-of-11 beyond 40 and hit on both of his attempts of 50 yards or more.

Who will win: Dunn

Offense Line and Coach

Let's talk about the OL and the OL coach. Our offense line is bad! Let's start with McKay, he is awful and has no business starting. He single handily almost got Morris hurt by his lack of blocking. His footwork is terrible. He has to lead the ACC with penalties. Now to Belton. He is regressing not progressing. Eason should be playing FCS football. McMahon is not ACC level lineman. So this leads to Garrison. Should have never been hired! State's line has got worst each year while he is here. His recruiting has not produced any quality lineman. Future looks bleak for this unit and State offense to succeed.
