Will legalized betting in N.C. alter how you view sports?

Now that it is March and legalized betting is on the horizon, been thinking about a few things.

Will March 11 be treated like a holiday when it's legal in North Carolina?

Has anyone already been thinking about what they want as their first bet?

Any NC State-related bets in the works?

I'm sure to many, they won't bet at all, but I have a hunch we'll be seeing ads all over the place trying to promote certain companies.

OT: WVU, Stanford and Vanderbilt hired coaches...

Terrific job by Stanford in hiring Kyle Smith of Washington State. He won't get Kannan Carlyle to return but maybe Maxime Raynaud and Andrej Stojakovic might from the transfer portal. But if he can win at Washington State, he can win at Stanford in due time.

West Virginia hired Drake coach Darian DeVries, who will bring his NBA prospect son with him. He's won 20 or more games in all six years at Drake, and was a long-time Creighton assistant under Dana Altman and Greg McDermott.

Vanderbilt hired James Madison coach Mark Byington, who also has coached at Georgia Southern.
