As I watched the game today from my home I became emotional because looking at the players and fans you could feel the seriousness of the situation. It was real. People praying etc. What I also witnessed was an NC State coach that was concerned and compassionate. I may be right or I may be wrong but I believe we have a basketball coach that is not only a bb coach but a leader of men. I think there are plenty of bb coaches but not a combination of leader and coach. From what I see and read this is a man who expects excellence on and off the court. I may be proven wrong but my opinion is that NCSU has hired a rare coach to lead its program.
