With Boston College losing tonight, the worst NC State can be is a nine seed and thus it avoids playing on Tuesday.
If it wins out and Syracuse loses out (games with Virginia and at Clemson), then (I think) NC State moves up to the seven seed. Otherwise I think every other scenario has NC State as an eight or nine seed.
