Louisville announced that freshman small forward Brian Bowen, who NC State recruited for nearly four years, won't be allowed to play this season. Assistant coach Kenny Johnson also has been officially fired. Johnson, a former Team Takeover traveling team coach, leveraged NC State, Georgetown and Maryland into a $500,000-plus salary from Louisville the spring of 2016. Maryland coach Mark Turgeon the last head coach standing from that time.
