Point guard Jose Alvarado dislocated his elbow (in gruesome fashion) during its home loss to Duke tonight. Alvarado was Georgia Tech's second leading scorer and leader in assists. Head coach Josh Pastner said after the game it is highly probable that Alvarado's season is over.
Obviously the first and primary concern is Alvarado gets better soon and fully recovers ... but NC State plays at Georgia Tech on March 1.
