Running back Matt Colburn won Mr. Football and ran well in the Shrine Bowl for South Carolina, but found out a few days before Signing Day that Louisville wants him to grey shirt.
He committed to Louisville last June, and never visited other schools. Some in these parts know his prep coach pretty well, Tom Knotts of Dutch Fork High.
It is sad that some UL fans are criticizing the kid for being mad because they just want their team to have the best 85 players it can have. Seriously?
Knotts did raise a good point in that Colburn will be waiting until January and what if coach Bobby Petrino and staff isn't even there by then.
