Columbia (S.C.) Ridge View junior power forward Greg Jackson picked North Carolina over Duke and South Carolina. He was set for the Gamecocks (maybe even for class of 2022), but then they fired Frank Martin and that opened up the door for Duke and UNC. Duke perhaps led, but that went poof after the Tar Heels topped the Blue Devils twice at the end. I got to see him at the CP3 Camp going into his ninth grade year and liked him and knew he was a high major, but never dreamed top 10.

He might not finish No. 1, and it could because of guards Robert Dillingham and Aden Holloway. They dominate so much of the offense for CP3 traveling team that Jackson gets forgotten at times. His prep coach is the new coach at Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Va., so it will be interesting to see what Jackson does for high school next year.
