Not many times you see a college add a player this late in the summer, but Pittsburgh signed junior college transfer Jonathan Milligan to bolster its backcourt for this upcoming season. Milligan, who NC State evaluated last year, originally signed with Florida Gulf Coast in mid-April, but then that situation fell apart when he couldn't meet transfer requirements (I know, how could Pitt get him in?).

He originally is from Arizona, but spent a year at Durham (N.C.) Mount Zion Academy and played with D-One Sports under then coach Brian Clifton. Ironically, departing Pitt guard Josh Newkirk (going to Indiana) was also part of that team I believe.
