Syracuse sophomore center Taurean Thompson is leaving Syracuse in weird fashion. He took his recruitment all the way to June 2016 last year, one of the longest-running sagas that I can remember. NC State offered him along the way. The Manhattan, N.Y., native averaged 9.2 points and 3.8 rebounds per game his freshman year. He'll be missed on the court, but probably not off it.
