Florida State beat out several top 10 programs to land senior forward Scottie Barnes, who played his first three years at Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) University School, but is now at Montverde Academy. He played at the John Wall Holiday Invitational with University School, and is now coming back with Montverde Academy. He's not a big scorer, but more of a Swiss Army knife that can do a little bit of everything and could be an All-ACC type of defender. If he plays with current freshman Patrick Williams, that's going to be a ton of length and versatility on the wing.
