UNC assistant coach C.B. McGrath was hired at UNC Wilmington by athletic director Jimmy Bass. The delay in the hire dictated they must be waiting on someone still coaching, so the dots connected back to McGrath.

North Carolina is likely to bump up Brad Frederick from director of operations to assistant coach.
