I feel like I kept seeing this in watching our games this season regarding opponents’ players, especially in conference play - “X player now with a career high.”
If my fact checking is correct (and I didn’t go beyond the last 5 games so there may be a few more), of the last 5 games, 4 different teams have had players score career or season highs on us.
GT (Alvarado), Louisville (McMahon), Miami (Beverly), Syracuse (Guerrier + Girard)
So the question is: Trend of a bad defensive system, or bad luck?
