La Porte (Ind.) La Lumiere High class of 2017 small forward Brian Bowen is finally set to decide Saturday. Louisville is the current favorite because a "Brian Bowen" is in the school directory but a buddy said UL is claiming there must be a second Brian Bowen as it isn't the hoops playing one. That said, the fact that Bowen can go through four years of being recruited, and then essentially recruit Louisville to go after him in late May, it's an all-timer.

NC State's previous staff formed a good relationship with Bowen all the way back to freshman year, and he officially visited during the winter. New coach Kevin Keatts has basically had 2 1/2 months to pick up the baton and keep it going. Normally, that wouldn't be enough time, but then lots of new schools entered the Bowen race during that time.

He's a totally different player than Donovan Mitchell, but Bowen, V.J. King and Deng Adel would give the Cardinals incredible length on the wings.
