Raleigh native Carson McCorkle earned an offer from NC State by the new coaching staff. The reclassed sophomore at Greensboro Day was offered by the previous coaching staff before the start of his prep career at Raleigh Broughton High, but then the new staff took its time on evaluating him over the last year. The 6-3 shooting guard was in the class of 2020, and he's on track to graduate in 2020 if he ever wants to go back to that class.
