Looks like things are starting to manifest themselves at UCLA. Kelly has a contract through next year with $9m buy out that goes away on 1/16/2022. He wants to negotiate an extension and so far UCLA is not negotiating with him. Makes you wonder how committed any of the football team was in playing the Holiday Bowl. They just decided to take a trip and enjoy the sites and then not commit to playing. I think COVID was used as the excuse but I really don't think they prepared to play. I'm sure more will come out in the weeks ahead. As sorry as their AD handled the bowl cancellation announcement, I sure wouIdn't want to negotiate my future with him. I hope the above link works.
