The CP3 Rising Stars Camp will take place in Greensboro this weekend, with games today from 12 p.m.-to-7:30 p.m., and then games Sunday from 9:30 a.m.-to-12 p.m., with all-star games at 3 p.m. at the Greensboro Sportsplex.

The campers came by NC State for unofficial visits Friday, which could pay off down the road. The irony to this is that after maybe Sept. 1, they can't take unofficial visits until Aug. 1, 2023, because of what I consider a dumb NCAA rule for freshman.

The camp will have both class of 2025 and 2026, but I'll be concentrating on the latter. The class of 2025 will have in-state standouts Jackson Keith, Zymicah Wilkins, Sadiq White, Zion Collins, Trevor Best and Zacch Wiggins, among others.

Freshman power forward Latrell Allmond, freshman shooting guard Ashton Pierce of Huntersville (N.C.) North Mecklenburg, freshman wing Markus Kerr of West Charlotte will be there in 2026. Two no-brainers types are coming — wing Chidi Nwigwe of New Jersey and Anicet 'AJ' Dybantsa, Jr. of Massachusetts.

I haven't seen him, but Antonio McKoy in 2026 from Roseboro (N.C.) Lakewood High has some good buzz going. Freshman center Tyson Thompson, who is the great nephew of former NC State post player Charles Shackleford will also be playing.
