Whats the latest with him @ Indiana? I know their fan base has grown tired and wants a new face. If we get in a situation where our top targets turn us down (Miller/Marshall), he might be a good fall back option if he is let go.

If he didnt have several major injuries on his team this year he probably wouldnt be on the hot seat.
Buzz Williams coached under him at Marquette. He was on Izzo's staff. He coached NBA guys like Dwayne Wade, Zeller, Oladipo, Eric Gordon, etc. The Adidas machine would be in place. I could see him bringing in a Levi Watkins or Hodge to put on staff. We could do a heck of alot worse.
Problem is it would not be a "win the press conference" type hire. A section of our fan base would never give him a chance to rebuild and would complain from day 1. Some fans prefer to have blind hope in a younger unknown guy like Keatts or Wade.
Crean is an upgrade over MG at the very worst. He is well respected in the coaching community.
I wouldn't hate it but I know others would.
