NC State coach Dave Doeren has talked about a variety of things such as...

Communication with the quarterbacks through the helmet will help change offensive football in the college game.

He felt it was important that the new transfers fit the culture and that a lot of them have ties to the state of North Carolina helped in that regard.

Duke running back transfer Jordan Waters will help balance out the offense, but if the personnel dictates to pass the ball more, they will.

He praised the work of former Clemson wide receiver transfer Dacari Collins.

He'll talk more after being on the podium.

From quarterback Grayson McCall:

He said it's his job every day to lead the guys in the right direction.

McCall said the helmet communication is great and makes his job easier. They used it during the spring. There are issues with the mics at times. He said he can communicate quicker and easier.

McCall said he knew during his official visit he knew NC State was the place. He said the culture is strong and that coach Dave Doeren has set the standard. He used all the phrases — grit, blue collar and chip on the shoulder kind of program.

McCall said the mullet is coming and he is bringing it back for the guys.
