I called in earlier today to ask who he thought was a better fit for NC State, Will Wade or Kevin Keats. He talked for about 10 minutes about how he does not think we will have to hire a mid-major coach as there are several current coaches of Power-5 schools that are very interested in the position.
He went on to say that if for some reason those fell through he knows for a fact there are at least 2 prominent Mid-Major coaches who would definitely accept the job. He wouldn't say who obviously but he did pretty much rule out the chance of Archie coming here.
After hearing that I've been racking my brain trying to figure out what Power-5 coaches he could be referencing.
