Maverick Rowan, SF, North Carolina State Wolfpack -- No. 30 in ESPN 100
Rowan didn’t choose the Wolfpack until August, after several months of back-and-forth on whether he would graduate early and reclassify to 2015. He needed to finish summer classes in order to enroll in college this fall, and then chose NC State over the likes of St. John’s, Louisville and West Virginia. Rowan is a big-time scorer who can make shots, and will immediately help Mark Gottfried on the offensive end. The combination of Rowan and West Virginia transfer Terry Henderson will give Anthony Barber options.
Shaun Kirk, SF, North Carolina State Wolfpack: Kirk played the AAU circuit in the spring unsure of whether he would be 2015 or 2016, and Kentucky even got involved late. But the big-time athlete chose the Wolfpack and will look for minutes behind a slew of returnees.
