Illinois fired John Groce, and presumably California coach Cuonzo Martin will be heavily in play. The joke in recruiting circles is the Cal staff has coincidentally been recruiting guys that Illinois was recruiting. Martin's OK in the short term in some ways, but he hasn't done a good job in recruiting.
