I thought that the board my be interested in this story about Freddie Combs, a member of the famed "White Shoes" defense and the record holder to this very day as the all time leader at NC State in punt return yards. He is been elected to the NC Sports Hall of Fame!
I don't know Freddie well, but see him and his lovely wife, Jamie, at the Finley YMCA quite often. He keeps himself in great shape and is a very nice gentleman, soft spoken and thoughtful.
