Free throws excuse

NC State as a team is shooting 71% from the charity stripe this season. They shot 62% on 21-34 versus Richmond. The free throw excuse is just another straw man. If we shoot our average that would be 24-34. We lost by 9. We would have shot 88% from the free throw line just to tie. Straw man arguments. Got to love them. Veteran team simply beat us. Outplayed, out coached, and out hustled. Hopefully, they get in practice and learn and get better. Making a higher percentage of free throws may have kept game closer but Cam Hayes was spot on when he said, It’s the little things.
