NC State has tried some with La Grange (Ga.) Troup County junior linebacker Ja'Qualin Birdsong. Well, he picked Cincinnati on Tuesday, and he's planning an unofficial trip to Central Florida today, so that's kind of a recruiting first. NC State offered him Feb. 9, but I haven't seen the need to interview him, but we'll see what he figures out to do eventually.
