Heath Schroyer went from being the head coach at Tennesee-Martin, to being an assistant coach at NC State. After the staff was fired, he was an assistant coach at BYU, and now is back to being a head coach at McNeese State. The athletic director there is Bruce Hemphill, who has deep Triangle roots and two sons that have played locally on the prep level and signed with Division I schools.
