Mitchell came to NC State's Junior Day on Jan. 21, and I've been following his recruiting progress. He's a big dude at 6-5 and 290 pounds, and he had the Group of Five schools, and some FCS schools, and then he broke through with West Virginia and Maryland offers. Now, in the last 24 hours, it's Virginia Tech and NC State.
