Powder Springs (Ga.) McEachern High junior center Babatunde Akingbola picked Auburn on Thursday. NC State had prioritized the McEachern "three" and the AOT "four" that he was both a part of. It will be interesting to see if Auburn, despite being in the FBI sting mess and with a head coach that chronically bends or breaks the rules in Bruce Pearl will now have the inside track on the other two players still free.

Georgia landed stud wing Elias King last week from Snellville (Ga.) Shiloh High, who was with Akingbola with AOT. Junior wing Isaac Okoro and sophomore point guard Sharife Cooper are the other two members at McEachern and AOT.

Akingbola was ranked No. 109 overall in the class of 2019, but a pair of Rivals writers wrote this week that they thought he could really make a move in the rankings over the next seven months. Gifted, gifted shot-blocker at 6-8.
