Junior SG Rawle Alkins update...

Middle Village (N.Y.) Christ the King junior shooting guard Rawle Alkins scored 21 points to win its third straight CHSAA championship over Xaverian. He had to come off the bench because he literally couldn't make it to the gym for the 3 p.m. tipoff. He got stuck in traffic. The same thing had happened when they lost to Xaverian in the regular season.
