NC State announced that the Kansas game will be Dec. 13 at the Lenovo Center.
Kansas will be built around a projected starting five of:
PG — Melvin Council (St. Bonaventure)
SG — Darryn Peterson
G — Jayden Dawson (Loyola of Chicago)
F — Tre White (Illinois) or Bryson Tiller
C — Flory Bidunga
They’ll be young but dangerous. The X-factor will be athletic guard Elmarko Jackson, who missed last year with an injury. I think they'll be asking Peterson to be a 20 points per game guy right off the bat. I am not sure they have much behind Bidunga at this point, but he's a gifted shot-blocker/rim runner.
I have them at 10 scholarship players, so probably going to try and get a few more this summer. At some point some 2026 recruits will graduate early and look for colleges.
