I'm pretty sure that Kentucky Rivals was at the McDonald's All-American game for the whole week and here is what their T.J. Walker wrote about Ingram at the link below:
2. Brandon Ingram is underrated.
May be a strange thing to read about a five-star player ranked No.19 in
the Rivals150, but he was without question one of the top five players
during this week in Chicago.
He wowed media and NBA personnel
during practices on Monday and Tuesday, and did more of the same with
fans during the game on Wednesday.
The long, lanky 6-foot-8, 180-pound forward finished with 15 points, scoring 13 in the first half.
And despite being a knockdown outside shooter, he also showcased his ability to absorb contact.
"I
like to shoot the ball but I like to get to the basket, too," Ingram
said. "As a skinny guy you wouldn't think I like contact, but I very
much like contact."
At some point during a busy April, Ingram will need to find out where he's going to college. Easier said than done.
He's
considering Duke, UNC, Kansas, UK, N.C. State and UCLA. But being a
North Carolina native doesn't mean he's afraid to cross state lines.
"Leaving
the state isn't really a factor for me," Ingram said. "I'm just looking
for the best fit for me. If Kansas had a better fit, Kentucky or UCLA
had a better fit for me, I'd go out there. It doesn't matter."
