Watched the second half on replay this morning and thought he made the biggest difference in the game defensively. We were down 54-48 I believe when he came in for Beverly. He immediately got in front of Howard on the drive who turned it over to Al Freeman for a fast break 2. Less than a minute later he found Hunt in the corner for a 3. We went on a 12-2 run with him on the floor and Beverly/Johnson on the bench.
His on ball defense on Howard and at times Battle in the second half was fantastic and extremely valuable IMO.
Great call by Keatts to go to him in crunch time when I'm sure he desperately wanted the offense Beverly can give you.
