Ok...the ACC is the focus today. So far the Sweet Sixteen has:
3 Big Ten Teams (NET Ranking)
Michigan State (8)
Michigan (9)
Purdue (12)
3 SEC Teams
Kentucky (6)
LSU (14)
Auburn (18)
1 ACC and then Gonzaga
Florida State (16)
Gonzaga (2)
The NET rankings are holding strong. Auburn (18) being the lowest at this point. The SEC and Big Ten could actually add 1 more team each. If the ACC #1 seeds hold serve and VT the ACC could have 5 teams. That could mean the ACC/ SEC/ Big Ten could represent 13 of the 16 teams left. The real bracket buster would come out of Oregon/ UC Irvine which means a 12/13 seed will get to the Sweet 16.
There have been some really good games and there have been some outstanding performances (last night Carson Edwards dropped 42 and Brandon Clark had 36).
Edit to include Vt...
