NC State is expected to check in on Raleigh St. David's reclassed junior forward Kris Monroe today. Monroe was offered by NC State in mid-February 2016, but I don't think the staff was actively recruiting him by July. I see him more as a small ball power forward and he has legitimate three-point range. If he ends up in that role, he'll need to get stronger. He is playing with Team John Wall this spring and summer, and they'll be at a smaller scale event in Hampton, Va., this weekend (not the Nike EYBL).
