It was a fairly light day from a prospects standpoint at the camp. The standout was junior corner Tymir Brown from Jacksonville (N.C.) High. The 5-foot-10 ½, 164-pounder tested well, running the 40-yard dash in 4.52 seconds and the shuttle in 4.12 seconds. He also had a 10-foot-1.5 broad jump and a 36.3-inch vertical leap.
It would be a major surprise if Brown, who had a 6-foot-3 wingspan, does not get an offer from NC State, who would join Duke, UNC and Wake Forest among others.
Not camping but visiting was offensive lineman Jared Wilson, another class of 2021 in-state stud who has offers already from Duke, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Syracuse. The 6-foot-3, 345-pounder from West Forsyth High in Clemmons is probably going to get a Wolfpack offer at some point as well.

A couple of in-state intriguing names there were class of 2020 LB/DE Darius Rodgers from Goldsboro (N.C.) High and class of 2021 WR Jakolbe Baldwin from Richmond County High in Rockingham.
Rodgers looks like he would be a good linebacker prospect at 6-foot-2, 212 pounds. He tested decent (4.78 second in the 40, 4.5 second in the shuttle, 9-foot-5 in the broad jump and 29.7 inches in the vertical), but Rodgers spent his time with the defensive line. He earned an offer from Fayetteville State based on his performance.
Last year Rodgers had 19 tackles for loss and 13 sacks in 11 games.
Baldwin is the second underclassman receiver from Richmond County to have a good day at the Pack’s camp. He’s approaching 6-foot, 174 pounds with a 6-3 wingspan and ran 4.66 seconds in the 40-yard dash. He also had a 4.13 seconds in the shuttle and 10-foot standing broad jump to go with a 33.8-inch vertical.
Last season, Baldwin caught 35 passes for 548 yards and eight touchdowns at Richmond. Earlier in camp his classmate Dalton Stroman impressed.
