NC State director of operations Jeff Dunlap reviewed how the upcoming season's schedule is formed. It's not finished yet, and the Wolfpack could start a home-and-home with a good program, and still have to find four "buy" games, where they pay a team to come play at NC State. Radford, UC-Irvine, Western Carolina, Stoney Brook, North Carolina Central and Central Michigan among the options for those games.

NC State will play Arizona State in Brooklyn, while LSU and Marquette battle on the other side. Missouri and South Florida are road games as return games, and both are rebuilding with their second-year coaches. IUPUI and UNC-Greensboro are also mentioned in the video for home games. NC State will play Michigan in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
