NC State coach Kevin Keatts and assistant coach Joel Justus have targeted senior shooting guard Braelon Green, who is originally from Michigan. He played this past year with Dream City Christian in Arizona with former NC State center signee Shawn Phillips, but could only watch from the sidelines after having shoulder surgery. While in Arizona, he got to know former ASU assistant coach Justus, so that is the connection.
Green is now going to Santa Clarita (Calif.) Southern California Academy, where he'll share the perimeter with Charlotte, N.C., product Jahseem Felton. When Green was healthy, freaky dunk. He might have won the dunk contest at CP3 Rising Stars Camp in 2019 when I first got to evaluate him.
