Yesterday's gritty, take no prisoners, attack by the Pack reminded me of the days of DT, Burleson and Towe. It has been a LONG time since I got as excited from watching a State basketball game as I was yesterday at the Dean Dome. Surrounded by all that blue, you could have heard a pin drop at the end of that game. If we play this way more consistently, like we did against AZ and EweNC, the sky is the limit for this team. The defense definitely needs improvement, far too many easy baskets by the Holes, but if we can shoot lights out, rain 3s down on our opponents, and "Never Give Up" as V used to say, we just might become a "special" program again, like we were in '74 and '83.
