Confirmed last night (while at Mumford and Sons concert) that linebacker Garrett Hooker from Thomasville (N.C.) Ledford had been offered by NC State. Hooker was 6-foot-1.5, 228 pounds at camp yesterday and ran the 40-yard dash in 4.8 seconds. He had a great shuttle time at 4.33 seconds and impressive verticals (9-6 broad jump, 31-inch vertical).
