After seeing this play out the past few weeks I think the quadrant system will be a detriment to many teams out there. Us included. They will need to do some serious tweaking of that after the conclusion of the tournament and here's why...

1) It is based off a flawed metric to begin with. Big wigs have been calling for the RPI to go away for a couple years now.

2) It takes away from accomplishments by just grouping them together. Which is completely wrong. A win for let's say St Johns at home against #1 Villanova is grouped into the same quadrant as a road win at current #75 RPI, Northeastern.

3) RPI is in large part based off of SOS. Which is flawed as well. Temple currently sits at #8 in the SOS. Anyone with eyeballs can see that despite their 2-3 more nonconference games against tougher opponents there is NO way they have a more difficult schedule than someone like Clemson who sits at #25. You cannot play in a conference with South Florida, Penn, East Carolina, UConn, Tulsa, UCF, Tulane and claim a top10 SOS. Even the better teams in that conference, like SMU and Temple both sit at 15-12.

Find someway to get a composite of everything out there saragrin, kenpom, BPI, RPI etc. Because this system won't work in my book.

Thanks for listening, I feel better now.
