Anybody else watch the NIT finals last night? It was the worst TV coverage EVER.
Bobby Knight was apparently announcing his last game for the mothership and he spent a LONG time saying goodbye. And then the other two announcers (yeah, they needed 3) spent almost equal amounts of time lauding Knight No play-by=play happened for long stretches.
Worse than that was Michael Irvin was there and I swear the cameras were on him for really long stretches. They actually shrunk the main screen and had a small box where we could watch Irvin watch the game. It was ridiculous. It turned me from rooting for the U (ACC). Glad Stanford pulled it out.
