Worst defensive performance in the History of Wolfpack sports!
Just wondering if there are stats for layups given up vs. our own FG% of missed layups?
And our total lack of fundamentals in all basketball facets is just downright embarrassing to watch!
Although our players loved to watch their opponents continuously drive right by them unabadded to the basket!
And it's very disturbing they we have such a low IQ on the court!
We continue to make the most idiotic decisions which results into numerous turnovers that creates easy baskets for the opponents.
Apparently some of our players have forgotten that you have you have to dribble the ball before proceeding? We must of had a 1/2 dozen traveling calls in our game at VT!
Will it really matter if we get better players in the program?
Will that somehow magically make our coaches smarter & be able to teach better fundamentals?
I remember reading a great article on our women's basketball coach.
Wes Moore said they recruit good shooters and the coaches will teach them how to play defense!
I think he's proven the type of coach & teacher of fundamentals that we need from all of our coaches!
Looks like our men's coach has a long ways to go in that department!
Although, we can always try to outscore our opponents if only we had guys that could actually shoot consistently!
