I said in the podcast after the first loss to UNC I sincerely believes Roy Williams' history of owning NC State gives his players a sense of confidence that they got this when they play NC State regardless of circumstances.
Hence why the worst free throw shooting team in the league goes 15 for 19 at the line in the second half and a 59 percent free throw shooter makes 14 of 16. That was a game that UNC had folded countless times this year (Duke, Virginia, Clemson, Notre Dame, etc.).
More importantly for NC State ... a big blow to its tournament hopes.
