So often we see former athletes opinions being given more validity than often its deserved simply because they played the game. It’s similar to how we’ve seen so many great players fail miserably as coaches or GMs. Here is the latest example courtesy of Gilbert Arenas. Nice job by Kevin Flaherty of breaking it down amd pointing out the obvious which is that either Arenas has never watched much of Zion playing or he was a pretty good player who isn’t very skilled at analyzing some aspects of the game and guys who play. Then again, this is the guy who was ready to go all Gunfight at the OK Corral with his teammate in the locker room.
