Report on twitter that tight end Avery Edwards will matriculate at Maryland. For those who may not remember, Edwards is from a long line of NC State family, but despite being season-ticket holders decided to commit to UNC coming out of Raleigh Ravenscroft during Dave Doeren's first full recruiting cycle. Edwards though had some legal issues (something along the lines of stealing jewelry) and did not make it to Chapel Hill.
