The case of former Syracuse signee Darius Bazley has gotten more bizarre. The Cincinnati native signed with Syracuse and then announced in April that he was going to play in the G-League. Now he's not going to play for anybody and just train. Rivals.com ranked Bazley No. 18 in the class of 2018, but he's not the kind of prospect that the NBA will salivate about no matter what his plans are.
Mitchell Robinson went through this kind of mess last year with signing with Western Kentucky and not playing at all, but he went in the second round to the New York Knicks. He was a more touted prospect than Bazley, and a legit 6-10 post player, which are always in demand.
