This one could have some serious scorched earth possibilities coming up over the next few years, with Georgetown firing John Thompson III.
Thompson III is probably the poster boy for what we say all the time, don't expect coaches to keep things going after 8-10 years, just very few that does. He's gone to the NCAA Tournament 10 times and one Final Four since 2000, but the Hoyas have really fallen into a bad, bad place the last two years. Essentially same records as NC State, going a combined 12-24 in the Big East, but also have players coming and going and then star recruit Tremont Waters wanted out of his letter of intent. So, it's currently a mess.
Other than Charlotte Hornets assistant coach Patrick Ewing, I can't see many coaches that will get any support from Big John, and that's going to make things really hard moving forward.
