I’ve seen a lot but I can’t recall a sitting coach at a pretty big school just leave to become a coordinator somewhere, but that apparently is what UCLA coach Chip Kelly is doing. I do get the connection to Ohio State coach Ryan Day, going back to the New Hampshire days. Not that Kelly needs the money, but guessing it is a drop of a couple of million dollars to become what I am guessing, one of the most expensive OC’s in football.
